Plans, directs, coordinates and carries out the marketing/sales and service needs of NAPA branded products to the NAPA market place for a supplying manufacturer to NAPA. This includes visits and meetings with GPC/NAPA Headquarter, Division Offices, Distribution Centers, Company owned and Independent Jobbers, as well as Professional Installers. Other corporate involvement where indicated as appropriate by the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
KEY FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION
Reports to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Promotes and sells NAPA branded products to the NAPA Market.
Works with and directs sales representatives where appropriate.
Reports by phone on a consistent basis, reports monthly results and activities in writing.
Reports current events and trends on a timely basis.
Communicates and calls on all levels of the customer in a time-effective manner.
Promptly responds to customers and company personnel
Resolves customer issues regarding sales, service, and products.
Attends local and national shows as needed, directed, and approved.
Must be willing and able to travel, both domestic and international, up to 75% of the time.

40+ hour work weeks with occasional weekend work required

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
3-5 years + of related experience within the Automotive Aftermarket
Direct experience working with GPC/NAPA is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven Problem Solving and Negotiation Skills
Service Oriented, inclusive of being an Active Listener
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION – REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
